Your first piece is very interesting and grabs ones attention immediately towards it, the use of limited colours make it very interesting, the use of different shades of grey on the artwork, also gives a very calm feeling to it, the orange sun setting and its light falling on the subjects also expresses calmness and warmth very successfully. Even thou your artwork is excellent i would suggest you to add more abstract and surreal objects in it and make it more detailed like in one of your previous piece.
Moving on towards the second piece, i really like how you chose a monk as your subject, I think it is a another perfect example for calmness and peace.I really like how you have added the contour lines on the monks cloth and the shades which makes it look really realistic and stands out a lot, where as i suggest you could use more of those bubbles around your artwork to express the meaning of calmness and security even more (as you get calmness when your secure) and sketching the prayers and mantras inside those bubbles.
Overall great Job ! its always interesting and attractive to look at your work Sapam.
