I really like your concentration peices for this month. They portray a lot of variety in your photography. Are there supposed to be related to your concentration MELODY? Majoring in photography for OUR concentrations, I know that it is important to branch out and try new themes and photograph different things.

I like the black and white contrast in your first picture "Skeletons." The detail of the buildings in the back add a lot of depth and perception to the simply photograph. The detail of the branches in the shot make this photograph quite unique it its own way. The one thing I would try to possibly improve is when opening the picture on a larger scale, the contrast between shadow and highlight is quite high. It would be nice if the picture had a more rustic or vintage look to it (toning down the shadow) maybe?

In your second picture, "Yellow Dragons," I like the use of YELLOW. It brings a sense of eeriness and almost a sense of weridness to the picture; it is not like everyday we see traffic jams of yellow cabs. Once again, when opened on a larger scale, the saturation is quite high and the image is blurry. Maybe by using decreased saturation and sharpening the image may bring out another interesting aspect. You can also use photoshop and purposly blur out the back while keeping one of the taxis sharpened (I can show you how to do this if you want :) )

Overall, wonderfully photographed SKELETONS and YELLOW CABS.
